Brady Label printers ship with drivers from Seagull Scientific. The stock drivers are not fully Windows compliant and don't work well with WireCAD. Brady Label printers ship with drivers from Seagull Scientific. The stock drivers are not fully Windows compliant and don't work well with WireCAD. You will need to change the driver that is associated with the printer to one made by Really Good Drivers.
Here are the steps:
- Install your Brady printer and software as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Install the appropriate driver from Really Good Printer drivers
- Open the Printers control panel
- Open the properties of the Brady Printer and select the Driver tab
- Change the driver from the Seagull to the Really Good.
That's it. Your Brady printer will now work with your Brady software and with any other software including WireCAD.
