Is there a recommended way of creating a new cable that is not connected to systems? I'm documenting existing infrastructure and need to input existing runs that are not currently being used.
Thanks!
Craig

                                        I couple of ways:
1. Use the Pre-wire tool in the Plan View Tools tab.
2. Enter a new cable directly in the Cables database. This will not show in a drawing but you can put whatever data you have in the cables database.
3. Use a orphaned terminals (ctrl-double-click a terminal to edit the display without putting the entry in the Equipment List) on each end of a cable.
