If you assign a bunch of Sysnames to various types of gear on one drawing, then on another drawing one attempts to recall a previously assigned Sysname, but accidentally selects the wrong one, the entries for one or both affected blocks gets corrupted. Had a newbie attempt this can completely trashed his Project DB. Would be nice if the recall routine would compare the current selected block's GUID to the one referenced in the Project DB and not allow this to happen. Otherwise, you have to delete both entries and start over. I guess he had done this many times because I could not get his Project DB to work at all after that. I had to start a new project and copy all of his drawings, then Slurp the Sysnames into a new DB.

I don't know how one can corrupt the block in this manner.
If the SysName is correct in the drawing but not the database, or in the database but not the drawing, try using the [Sync Insert with Database] function. It can be found as a context menu to the selected piece of equipment (select equipment, right-click, Equipment>Sync Insert with Database).

This function will tell you the following:
1. The equipment SysName and Location matches the database. Or.
2. The equipment SysName and Location kind of matches and let's you select the appropriate data to apply to the block. Or.
3. The equipment SysName and Location kind of matches and let's you select the appropriate data to apply to the database. Or.
4. The equipment SysName and Location cannot be found in the database and would you like to add it.
