Does opening a problem WireCAD 9 project in WireCAD 8 create more errors and corrupts it more than it had been in 9?

Please see the attached images showing the error message upon opening a WireCAD project in 8;

The first image shows WireCAD 8 opening a 9 project frozen at this error message. When close and dismiss it comes up with more errors duplicate table name etc. See the second image. After clicking dismiss through the series of errors, the project opens.

I am able to update the sys name by double click on the equipment with IOP-1 and drop down to change it to IOP-01. Then update occurs. I miss the wonderful quick ripple feature in WC 9. I'm spoiled. It saves a lot of thumb twiddling.

One weird problem with WC 8 now is that the center click hand tool doesn't come up. I have to click the hand on the tool bar and then I'm able to drag around the screen.

Too.... Many .... Questions .....
Opening a project in previous versions will throw all kinds of database schema update error. Then it should work fine.
I don't think it is contributing to the lock table issue.

Sorry for the flurry of questions, but I'm trying to wrap this up and present it as a documentation example for curriculum. I'm going to try opening the same project again in WC 9.

Sorry I wanted to reopen, but I wanted to respond. I anticipate that you will close this ticket again.
