This is a weird one, maybe you have a fix or an idea of why this is happening. I've seen this using front panels, as well as if I copy in .dwg drawings from other applications.
So, in this example, I have a block that has a 25RU space rack. I'm building rack elevations. I noticed I don't like how the front panel looks, there is some jumbled text and overlapping. I open the front panel from the 2D elevations folder, make the changes to where I like it, save. Link the newly adjusted front panel in the details tab of the equipment library, and go rebuild my racks(after erasing everything and purging of course). Rebuild racks, and the old front panel shows up, not the new one. Now, if I create a new drawing, then when I drop in the block is shows the newly adjusted front panel I wanted. I noticed this same behavior when I drop in custom I/O plates I create in a different program. It's like the drawing remembers the original file and can only link back that file once it has been accessed. It doesn't update with new info.
How do I get the drawing to forget what it was previously linking to, and link to the new awesome file I have adjusted?

Delete and purge then reinsert is the way. I usually rename the block file just to be sure, but the purge is the key.
If that is not working I am confused.

I am definitely purging. Delete, purge. Every time. Doesn't seem to matter. Let me try renaming the file...

Changing the file name works... Would be nice if I didn't have to do that, but it will do as a work around.
Thanks.
Thanks.
