Windows 2K, XP, Vista, Win7, Win8, Win10

• Works natively on 32 and 64 bit machines.
  
• RAM: 512+ megabytes.
  
• Hard Drive space: 200+ megabytes.
  
• 1024x768 32 Bit capable monitor/graphics (widescreen or dual screens are helpful) .
  
• Mouse with mouse-wheel.
  
• Port 1433 firewall exception to access the community server: community.wirecad.com.
  

Options for PRO and Enterprise level if considering SQL Server databases and/or multi-user installation with shared data:

• SQL Server 2005 or better (Express version is ok).
  
• File server if multi-user in a closed environment. 
  

.Net Framework

WireCAD runs on the .Net Framework so it is important that you have the proper version of the framework installed. The WireCAD installer will check to make sure that your machine is properly configured and start the install process if necessary. It will not be able to finish the process automatically. You will need to finish installing the framework then run the WireCAD installer again.

NOTE: the above only applies if your machine does not have the correct version of the .Net Framework.
