Holbrook Enterprises, Inc. (HEI) the owner of www.wirecad.com respects the privacy of its members and visitors and is strongly committed to protecting that privacy. In order to protect online privacy, HEI has implemented the following policy.
HEI Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes what information HEI will collect from its members, visitors and customers, and how we will use that information once it is collected. This policy does not apply to Web sites of any HEI member, affiliate or any Web sites that have hypertext links to the HEI Web site.
What Information is collected?
From General Users
HEI does not collect any personal information, including e-mail addresses, from users browsing its Web site. Users of the public areas of HEI's Web site browse anonymously. We do log your internet provider's address to tell us which parts of our Web site you visit and how long you spend there. We do not link your internet provider's address to anything personally identifiable. The only other information automatically provided to us is the type of computer and operating system you are using. Your browser supplies us with this information. The information helps us to identify overall usage patterns and trends on the site.
From Members and Customers
Members, in order to take advantage of member-only resources, and customers are asked to register and provide some limited information. This data is submitted voluntarily. HEI asks users to provide their name, organization name, business address, business phone, and e-mail. This information is similar to information that may be submitted to HEI through other means, such as membership applications, conference or seminar registration, and product orders.
Credit Card Information
HEI collects credit card information, such as card number and card expiration date, when products are purchased from our site. Except as noted below, we will not voluntarily disclose your credit card information without your consent. Credit card data is transmitted through our secure Web server and is encrypted so no one else can read it.
Information Usage
HEI uses information voluntarily submitted by members and other customers to improve its own Web content\; to respond to visitors interests, needs and preferences\; and to provide information about products and services offered by HEI. When members and customers choose to pay using their credit card, HEI submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Data Retention
HEI retains individual session data for a 24 hour period. This enables a user reentry to the site and the ability to continue their session within the 24 hour period. Cookies, files that contain information created by a web server that are stored on a user's hard disk, are utilized by HEI.
Disclosure
HEI retains the right to release personal information to proper authorities when required by law or in good faith, believe that we must release the information in order to: (a) satisfy a legal order or comply with legal process\; (b) defend the rights of HEI\; or (c) protect the personal safety of HEI employees, agents, affiliates, business partners, customers or site users.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.
Means of Redress
If any User suspects HEI has handled its personal information in a manner that does not comply with this privacy statement, please contact us by e-mailing to support@wirecad.com or by calling 661-253-4370 and ask for a Customer Service Representative.
Update Check
WireCAD Personal and Professional will, upon program launch, check the website for program updates. Generic information regarding your WireCAD installation is transmitted at this time, including: WireCAD registration number, date/time stamp, harddrive serial number, and computer name. This information is never sold nor is it disclosed to any outside source.
